Grade Three Classroom Teacher (full time, begins July 2015)
We seek a dynamic educator to join our faculty as we come alongside parents to raise their children to be all that God desires. The third grade teacher will be responsible as a godly role-model to instruct children in Bible, reading, writing, mathematics, science and history according to a biblical worldview and classical methodology, for which we provide on-going training. Our teachers enjoy children while inspiring them to high standards and the pursuit of genuine Christian faith. Class size at WCA averages 12 students and parents are truly partners.

Qualifications:
  • Spiritually mature Christian with a joyous love for children
  • Passion for Christian education and at least basic knowledge of classical methodology
  • Bachelor’s degree in education; Master’s preferred
  • Teaching experience with young children
  • Ability to lead with a Biblical Worldview
  • Excellent communication/people skills
  • Basic proficiency with technologies

Administrative Assistant (Full time)
This year-round position is to start in June or July, 2015, overseeing the daily operations of the office. Responsibilities include regular interaction with students, teachers, parents and other constituents, handling a multitude of administrative details, coordinating our admissions process, assisting with special events and much more.

  • School and office experience
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with a thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new software and computer systems
  • Highly organized yet also flexible with the ability to multi-task and handle regular interruptions
